R2 experiments ODIN with 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. IRwin NTC

Over the past 10 days, we’ve been working closely with the 1st Cavalry Division, U.S. Army in the California desert at The National Training Center and Fort Irwin, putting ODIN’s full-spectrum dominance capabilities directly into the hands of the warfighters.

In a world-first exercise of passive RF sensors on the  manuever, ODIN detected and tracked a swarm of customized drones communicating over LTW, Wi-Fi and Cellular signals, using an interconnected web of passive sensors deployed on armored vehicles in motion, and integrating with a tethered drone to extend visibility from altitude – all streaming live airtracks into the FAAD-C2.

Thousands of soldiers, hundreds of vehicles, and countless systems – operating together in the field, under pressure, in real-time.
