R2’s Odin system is based on a single RF front-end that processes a range of wireless protocols in different frequency bands, at different sampling rates and bandwidths. Our patented technology can detect and classify RF emitting devices without any prior knowledge of their type, nature, or communication protocol.

R2’s powerful signal processing uses proprietary RF fingerprinting algorithms to extract unique analog and digital characteristics from each signal. This enables to uniquely identify wireless 
devices and detect and record returning threats.

Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA)

R2’s superior Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) technology accurately geolocates emitters in a multi-sensor setup. R2’s TDoA technology overcomes common challenges observed in naive TDOA approaches, e.g. low strength signal, synchronization, timing, fading channels, and multipath effect, and introduces, for the first time, an ultra-accurate, commercial-grade TDoA-based geolocation.

Angle of Arrival (AoA)

R2’s proprietary Angle of Arrival (AoA) technology uses advanced modeling to accurately locate emitters in a single sensor setup. It effectively handles signal fading in order to provide accurate direction and angle above the horizon as well as a estimation of the emitter’s distance.

Joint Signal Classification (JSC)

R2 employs advanced Joint Sensing and Communication (JSC) techniques to augment discrete wireless transmissions, of both the communication link and the target echo, into comprehensive situational awareness, using passive data collection and AI-based behavioral and contextual analysis which does not violate privacy and is completely GDPR compliant.
