Dave is one of the architects of modern fifth-generation combat aviation and among the few pilots in the U.S. military to fly the F-16, F-18, F-22, and F-35. Over his career he has flown combat missions over Iraq and Afghanistan, served as a Forward Air Controller in ground combat, and led the stand-up of the Marine Corpsโ first F-35 squadron.
As drone and air warfare increasingly shift into spectrum warfare, Dave brings invaluable operational insight into how electromagnetic awareness shapes decision-making in modern combat environments. At R2 Wireless, weโre building ODIN, a passive RF sensing platform designed to deliver real-time electromagnetic situational awareness, helping operators expose and understand increasingly sophisticated drone and other RF threats.
With deployments expanding across Europe and the Middle East and ongoing evaluations across U.S. defense and homeland security organizations, weโre excited to have Daveโs experience helping guide the next phase of our growth.
